One of the largest solar catamarans in the world has its home port in Heidelberg:
The MS Neckarsonne. Powered by solar energy, the ship glides almost silently across the river. During the approximately 50-minute round trip, a refreshing, free drink and exciting information about the route in German and English are included. Discover the most beautiful highlights of Heidelberg from a unique perspective.

The boat can also be hired for special occasions, such as company or private parties. 

Departure times:
Tuesday to Sunday 12.30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3.30 p.m., 5 p.m. (April to October)

Please note: The boat as well as the jetty is wheelchair accessible. Departure at the Alte Brücke mooring.
