From 2026, two rooms will be available for weddings at Heidelberg Castle.

The Fountain Parlor is located in one of the oldest parts of the palace, built in the 16th century, in which today the palace gastronomy serves every guest like a princely. Here you will inevitably be captured by the medieval character. Simply designed sandstone slabs, oak windows with lead glazing, and the coffered oak ceiling round off the overall impression of a feudal castle scenery perfectly. The wonderful view of the inner courtyard and the facade of the palaces built in different styles, which make the castle one of the most popular buildings in Germany, is of course romantically unforgettable.

From 2026, civil weddings can also be held in the Hall of Glass of Heidelberg Castle. The light-flooded room with its elegant glass architecture combines a historic backdrop with modern transparency and offers a unique view of the castle gardens and the surrounding Old Town. The stylish atmosphere makes the Glass Hall a special place for your romantic ceremony.
