Heidelberg Castle is located on Castle Road, which is one of the most traditional vacation routes in Germany. Under the motto "Experience a journey through time," it connects some 60 castles and palaces on its way from Mannheim to Bayreuth, touching on internationally renowned destinations such as Heidelberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Nuremberg, and Bamberg.
