The bus parking lot at the castle offers space for a maximum of 6 buses up to 14.50 m in length.
The driveway to the castle is only possible for buses with a fee-based parking space reservation / special permit. You can get these - if parking spaces are available - at www.reiseshop-heidelberg.de or by email at park@reiseshop-heidelberg.de. Same-day or next-day reservations can also be made by phone at +49 172 6200063.
Driving up to the castle is prohibited between 7:00 pm and 8:00 am. Individual permits can be obtained from the Traffic Management Office by phone: +49 6221 58-30500.

Neue Schlossstraße is closed to vehicles weighing 3.5 tons or more. A detour of approx. 15 km leads via Gaiberg. Please use the detour linked here.

- € 45 fixed price for the first 90 minutes, € 25 for each additional hour.
- Evening fixed price of € 75 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- There is no daily fixed price.
- Combo ticket: An optional ticket includes 90 minutes of parking at the castle and 60 minutes at the Karlstor. In this case, a parking space will be reserved at the Karlstor.
