Description

It is the oldest university in Germany: the Ruperto Carola University Heidelberg. Founded in 1386, it has been attracting leading thinkers to Heidelberg from throughout the world for centuries. The tour is an opportunity to get to know the history of the university and its student life - it leads to the university library and to the Peterskirche. The Old Auditorium and the Karzer, the historic student prison, are other stops along the way.
